Lánchíd 19 has a moveable, accordion-like glass facade with tiny painted graphics, chronicling the eco-system of the Danube. It is animated by the changing colors of an innovative lighting design concept, thus providing large pictures (e.g. of a fingerprint, a diver, a bottle or simply wavelets). Glass is one of the dominant materials in the interiors as well, creating a sense of openness and allowing movement to become an integral part of the building’s character.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The weather responsive hotel facade display is consisting of 300 RGB LED modules (18 LEDs 1W LEDs in each), devided into 150 controllable segments.

Resolution: 5 x 30 (5 floors x 5 rooms x 6 segments in front of each room)
Controlling protocol: DMX on 450 channels
Technical Possibilities/ Equipment: PC, Enttec DMX USB Pro interface, any software compatible with the DMX interface
